RIGNOX builds headlights, tail lights, grilles, tailgate light bars, underglow, and other illuminated upgrades. Installation differs by product type — this overview covers the universal steps plus what's specific to each category. For step-by-step instructions, find your vehicle and product in the guides below.

Quick Summary
- Confirm fitment first — see the Fitment Guide.
- Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before any wiring.
- Test every function before final mounting.
- Replacement lights are mostly plug-and-play; grilles, tailgate bars, and underglow require wiring to a power or signal source.
- Professional installation is strongly recommended. Improper installation may void your warranty.
Universal Steps (All Products)
- Prepare: confirm fitment, work on a cool vehicle that's off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Inspect: unpack and check for any defect or shipping damage before installing.
- Install & connect: follow your product-specific steps below.
- Test before finishing: reconnect the battery and confirm every function works.
- Secure & tidy: mount firmly, route and protect wiring away from heat and moving parts, and reassemble.
Headlights
Headlights typically require removing the grille and sometimes partial bumper removal to reach the mounting bolts. Most connect directly to the OEM plug; some trims use an included adapter harness (no cutting or splicing).
Don't skip: adjust headlight aim after mounting, and don't use dielectric grease on connectors unless specifically instructed.
Tail Lights
Tail lights are usually accessed from inside the trunk, hatch, or tailgate by removing a trim panel — no bumper removal in most cases. They connect through the factory socket and are generally plug-and-play.
Don't skip: confirm running, brake, turn, and reverse all function after reconnecting.
Grilles
RIGNOX offers two grille types, installed differently:
- Full replacement grilles (with integrated LED running lights) bolt on to your factory mounting points and clips, replacing the OEM grille — no cutting or drilling. The included LED harness is then wired to a switched source (typically the parking/marker circuit).
- Standalone grille lights (marker-style pods) mount into your existing grille mesh with the supplied screws and grommets, wired in parallel and tapped to accessory or parking-light power.
Don't skip: choose how the lights should behave (always-on accessory vs. on with your parking lights) and seal each opening against moisture.
Tailgate Light Bars
Tailgate light bars mount across the rear of a truck tailgate and add running, brake, reverse, and sequential turn signals. They mount with adhesive and/or brackets, and the included harness connects to your existing tail-light circuits.
Don't skip: correctly match each wire to the running, brake, left/right turn, and reverse circuits, and confirm all functions before driving.
Underglow
Underglow kits mount LED strips or tubes under the vehicle, route wiring to a control box, and draw power from the battery or an accessory source through a fuse. Most are app- or remote-controlled.
Don't skip: keep wiring clear of exhaust, heat, and moving parts; fuse the power lead near the battery; and check your local laws — underglow color and on-road use are restricted in many states.
RGB / App-Controlled Products
If your product has RGB or app control, download the pairing app and follow the in-app steps. Keep a road-legal color and mode selected for street driving.
Important Notes
- Some U.S. states regulate smoked lenses, sequential signals, RGB modes, and underglow — verify your local laws.
- Do not use dielectric grease on connectors unless specifically instructed.
- Improper installation, wiring, grounding, or sealing can damage the product or vehicle and may void warranty coverage.
