Important: This online guide is a fitment-aware overview for the matched RIGNOX product. Before removing original parts or connecting wiring, confirm the connector layout, transferred parts, wire routing, and vehicle-specific fastener locations on your exact vehicle.
BLIS warning: Non-BLIS trims only. On the Maverick the blind-spot sensor sits inside the tail light housing. If the truck has factory BLIS — including any XLT with the Co-Pilot360 package and all Lariat models — this product will not work and there is no adapter. Check the indicator in the corner of the side mirror before removing original parts.
Safety warning: Do NOT use dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Grease can cause connection problems and may affect warranty coverage.

Product notes
- The blind-spot sensor on BLIS-equipped Mavericks is housed inside the factory tail light. This product does not carry that module and cannot be adapted to it.
- Sequential, startup, or animation functions are product/variant dependent. Test them before final reassembly.
- The matched product page references road-lighting compliance information. Review the product page for the exact compliance language for this item.
Before you begin
- Vehicle/product: 2022-2025 Ford Maverick Sequential LED Tail Lights.
- SKU check: Confirm your kit SKU matches T-MAV22-SR before removing original parts.
- BLIS check: Confirm the truck does not have factory blind-spot monitoring. The mirror indicator is the fastest way to tell.
- Power and safety: Switch the vehicle off before unplugging connectors. Disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring, fuse taps, or exposed circuits.
- Protect the vehicle: Use clean towels or masking tape around painted panels and bed-side edges. Do not force clips or pry against painted surfaces.
- No connector grease: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
- Rear lamp note: Leave the tailgate open until every lighting function passes testing.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; confirm the exact socket sizes on your vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape for painted bed-side edges
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A helper for brake-light and turn-signal testing
Remove the original tail lights
- Open rear access: Open the tailgate and remove only the fasteners and access covers required to reach the tail light mounting hardware.
- Support the lamp: Hold the lamp with one hand while removing the remaining bolts or clips.
- Disconnect vehicle connectors: Press each lock tab and pull by the connector body, not by the wires.
- Release locating pins: Draw the lamp straight rearward. Do not pry against painted body panels.
- Repeat on the opposite side: Complete one side fully before starting the other, so the original assembly remains available as a reference.
Install the RIGNOX tail lights
- Compare assemblies before mounting: Compare the removed original tail light and the RIGNOX tail light. Transfer bulb holders, seals, or brackets only where the original assembly clearly carries a part the new one does not.
- Connect the main harness: Match each included connector to the corresponding vehicle connector and confirm the lock tab clicks into place.
- Secure wiring before mounting: Use zip ties to prevent rubbing, pinching, water pooling, or contact with the tailgate hinge, latch movement, weather seals, and sharp metal edges.
- Seat and fasten the lamp: Align locating pins and check the panel gap against the bed side before tightening. Tighten original retainers evenly without over-tightening plastic mounts.
- Reinstall trim last: Leave access covers off until every electrical function passes testing.
Electrical and function test
- Test parking/running lights, brake lights, left and right turn signals, hazards, reverse lights, and startup animation if equipped.
- Confirm the turn signal sweeps on the correct side and both sides light at equal brightness.
- Confirm no bulb-out warning, hyperflash, or flicker appears after two ignition cycles.
- After all tests pass, reinstall access covers and close the tailgate slowly to confirm no wire is stretched or pinched.
Final check
- All connectors are fully seated and locked.
- All included harnesses are secured away from movement, sharp edges, water paths, and heat sources.
- Both lamps sit flush with even body gaps, properly seated seals, and no trapped harness under the weather seal.
- All tail light functions test correctly on both sides with a helper operating the controls.
- No warning lights, hyperflash, flickering, abnormal heat, moisture entry, or loose modules remain after a short function check.
Troubleshooting
- Blind-spot warning appears on the dash: Stop and refit the factory lights. This is the symptom of a BLIS-equipped truck, which this product does not support.
- One tail light does not turn on: Recheck the main connector on that side and the corresponding fuse before assuming a fault in the assembly.
- Brake, reverse, running, or turn function is wrong: Stop and recheck the connector choice and wire routing before moving pins or changing wiring.
- Warning, flicker, or hyperflash appears: Confirm the included decoders and LED flash relay are connected exactly as supplied for this vehicle.
- Trim will not sit flush: Check for a trapped harness, misaligned clip, folded weather seal, or a locating pin that has not seated.
