Behind the glass, three projector cups per side throw a controlled beam with a defined cutoff — light where you're driving, not in oncoming eyes. A signature L-shaped daytime running light frames each housing and runs as a switchback, bright white by day and shifting to amber the moment you signal. The turn indicator sweeps outward in sequential amber, a startup animation runs on ignition, and a lock-up greeting plays when you arm the truck.

Every DS trim was halogen from the factory. Even Laramie and Longhorn left the line with halogen low and high beams — the projector housing and LED daytime running light are the only things that changed between trims. That is the bar this assembly clears: full-LED low and high beam on a truck that never had the option.

What the V2 board actually does for you. Output self-calibrates through the voltage swings of idle, auto start-stop, and accessory draw, so brightness never dips. A dynamic thermal routine reads housing and lens temperature and trims cooling to match, cutting light decay at the source and extending the life of the core optics by over 40%. Four-way protection — over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and reverse-polarity — carries it through off-road, high-heat, and deep-cold use, and high/low switching and DRL/turn wake-up respond up to 60% faster than the last generation. The payoff is simple: no error codes, no flicker, no five-minute dropout — on any of the three factory setups.

You pick the DRL color at install. Each headlight ships with two DRL leads, one white and one amber. Plug in the color you want and cap the other — no variant to choose at checkout, and changing your mind later costs ten minutes with the bumper cover off instead of another set of headlights.

Blacked-out internals, clear lens. The dark housing gives the assembly its smoked attitude when the lights are off, while the lens stays optically clear so the projector cutoff arrives on the road intact.

Built on patented optical technology and independently tested for vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosion resistance. The LED engine is seated on an aluminum base with active cooling, IP67-sealed against rain, dust, and road spray.
