Toyota and Subaru put a 2.4 in the second-generation car and quietly settled the argument that followed the first one for a decade. What carried over is a rear end worth doing something with — wide, flat, and mostly ignored by the factory.

Every function runs on LEDs, so the housing lights instantly and evenly with none of the warm-up lag or burnout cycle of filament bulbs. The turn signal fires as a sweep rather than a single flash, and the full pattern runs once on ignition as a startup animation. No external controller, nothing to configure once the harness is plugged in.
Two builds. Smoked Red is the clean version — close to how the car left the factory, just darker and sharper. Smoked Digital w/ App Control runs an addressable panel rather than a single-colour bar, controlled from your phone, which is where the price difference comes from.
Built on patented optical technology and independently tested for vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosion resistance. The lens is UV-stable polycarbonate, so it holds its clarity instead of yellowing after a few summers.
Installation is plug-and-play into the factory harness. Integrated decoders and an LED flash relay hold the correct flash cadence — no hyper-flashing, no dash errors.

Fitment & Installation Notice
Looks great on my GR86. The smoked red finish gives the rear end a much cleaner and more aggressive look without being over the top. Install was straightforward and the sequential LEDs add a nice modern touch. Very happy with the quality and fitment.
These sequential LED tail lights gave my 2023 GR86 a much more modern look. The startup animation is clean, the turn signals are smooth, and the LEDs are bright and crisp. Installation was simple, and the fitment was exactly like OEM.
