FAQ

No Confusion, Just Clear Answers

No. Factory headlights yellow because their lens breaks down under years of UV. RIGNOX headlights use a UV-stable polycarbonate lens with an anti-fog coating and breathing vents, so they stay clear instead of turning cloudy — no more restoration kits, no more sanding and polishing every summer. A thin mist inside the lens after a cold night is a different thing and is normal on any vented lamp: normal fog or a real leak.
Up to 300% brighter than stock. A true projector optic focuses the light into a razor-sharp, glare-free beam instead of scattering it, so you get more usable light on the road — brighter and better controlled than the factory reflector setup, not just "whiter."
Yes. Every RIGNOX headlight is DOT/SAE compliant, with a proper beam cut-off and a white main beam that keeps light on the road and out of oncoming drivers' eyes. Any RGB or color modes are decorative accent lighting only — the road-facing beam stays legal white. What the DOT marking actually means, and the three things that can make a compliant light illegal after install: read the guide.
No. RIGNOX headlights ship with integrated CANBUS decoders and anti-flicker hardware built in, so they run error-free on modern vehicles — no dash warnings, no flicker, no separate resistors to splice in. A small number of vehicles still want more load on the turn-signal circuit; if yours hyperflashes after install, we send you the right resistor. How to tell the three symptoms apart and what to check first: hyperflash, flicker and bulb-out warnings.
Plug-and-play. They're built on the factory mount architecture and use OEM connectors, so they bolt into the stock location and plug straight into your factory harness — no cutting, no adapters, no modifications. Most installs take under an hour with basic hand tools.
Every listing is built for a specific year range and trim, so match your vehicle to the fitment shown on the product page. One important note: these replace standard factory halogen or LED headlights and are not compatible with factory adaptive (AFS) or auto-leveling headlight systems, and factory matrix/ADB high beam does not carry over to any aftermarket lamp. Which factory features survive the swap and which don't: read the feature-by-feature table. If your vehicle came with adaptive headlights, confirm compatibility before ordering, or reach out and we'll check for you.
Yes — every RIGNOX headlight runs a blacked-out (smoked) housing for that murdered-out, factory-plus look, behind a clear lens. We keep the lens clear on purpose: a dark-tinted headlight lens cuts light output and isn't DOT-legal, so you get the blacked-out style without failing inspection or losing beam performance.
RIGNOX headlights are rated for a 50,000-hour lifespan — years of nightly driving. They run a constant-current driver that holds brightness steady instead of dimming with voltage swings, and an active aluminum base that pulls heat away from the LEDs — heat is what kills cheap assemblies long before the diodes wear out. Complete assemblies are independently lab-tested for water, dust, corrosion and shock resistance.
Those are respected names — and so is our build. RIGNOX runs automotive-grade LEDs, a true projector cut-off, DOT/SAE compliance and full plug-and-play CANBUS fitment. Where we stand out is value: the same bolt-on, street-legal upgrade at a builder-friendly price, backed by a 2-year warranty and 30-day returns.
Not brightness. Projector count changes the shape of the beam and what fits the housing: fewer, larger projectors throw farther with a sharper cutoff; more, smaller projectors spread a wider, more even low beam and fit shallow housings. Every layout is a DOT/SAE white main beam with a proper cutoff. RGB and Demon Eye are decorative show features on the accent lighting, never the main beam.
