Volkswagen ended the Beetle in 2019 and there won't be another one. The A5 is the version that dropped the flower vase and asked to be taken seriously — lower, wider, and closer to the 1960s car than the one it replaced.

Projector optics produce a controlled beam with a defined cutoff — light on the road, not in oncoming eyes. That's the whole job here: the round housing is what makes the car, so the point isn't to redesign it, it's to put proper optics behind a shape worth keeping.

Bulbs are not included. These are supplied as housings, and you supply 12V/35W H7/D2H Xenon (HID) bulbs for low and high beam. That's a real cost to budget for on top of the assemblies — stated up front so there's no surprise when the box arrives.

Factory halogen cars only. Beetles built with factory Xenon and AFS adaptive lighting use a different interface and are not compatible. AFS steers the beam with the steering wheel, so it's usually obvious from the driver's seat if you have it.

Built on patented optical technology and independently tested for vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosion resistance, with an engine seated on an aluminum base and active cooling to hold output steady mile after mile.

Installation is plug-and-play into the factory harness, with integrated anti-flicker decoders — no hyper-flashing, no dash errors.
