2021-2023 Ford F-150 LED Tail Lights Assembly

The 14th-gen F-150 shipped with a generator in the bed and a screen the size of a laptop. Ford left fewer places than they used to for you to sign your name on the truck — the tail lights are one of them.

Built for your rig. Made for the night.

Every function runs on LEDs — running, brake, reverse, turn — so the lens lights instantly and evenly, with none of the warm-up lag or burnout cycle of filament bulbs. The turn signal fires as a sweep rather than a single flash, and the full pattern runs once on ignition as a startup animation. No external controller, nothing to configure once the harness is plugged in.

Two housing shapes, four builds. Blade Bar runs a single continuous red bar along the top and outer edge and comes in three versions, matched to what Ford actually installed. Triple Edge is the other shape — three vertical sequential segments stacked along the inboard edge, in smoked red, and it is built for non-BLIS trucks only.

Blade Bar — XL/XLT Base replaces factory halogen units on trucks without blind-spot monitoring. Blade Bar — XLT/Lariat Mid and Blade Bar — Platinum/King Ranch/Limited/Raptor High both keep factory BLIS working: Mid covers halogen and OEM LED trucks, High is built for factory LED and is the build the Raptor takes. These are not interchangeable. Order by your truck's actual tail light type and BLIS equipment, not by the badge on the tailgate.

Not for trucks with Onboard Scales. That option runs its own tail light hardware, and none of the four builds replace it. It is an option box rather than a trim level, so it turns up on mid-range trucks as readily as loaded ones — open the center display, go to Features, and look for Onboard Scales. If it is listed there, none of these will fit. The Raptor was never offered with it.

Triple Edge is priced above the Blade Bar builds because of the housing, not the trim. It is a different mould with a more complex light guide, and it only covers non-BLIS trucks — the same coverage as Blade Bar XL/XLT Base. Choose it because you want that face, not because it is a higher-spec fitment. It is not compatible with factory BLIS.

Tail lamp heat is not supported on any of the four builds. If your truck came with heated tail lamps, that function will not carry over.

Built on patented optical technology and independently tested for vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosion resistance. The lens is UV-stable polycarbonate, so it holds its clarity instead of yellowing after a few summers on a jobsite.

Installation is plug-and-play into the factory harness. Integrated decoders and an LED flash relay hold the correct flash cadence — no hyper-flashing, no dash errors.

Compatibility

Fits: 2021-2023 Ford F-150 (14th Generation, P702 platform), including the Raptor on the Blade Bar High build. Select your variant by stock trim, factory tail light type, and BLIS equipment — variants are not universally interchangeable.

Does not fit: Trucks equipped with the factory Onboard Scales option, on any build.

Blind spot monitoring: Blade Bar Mid and Blade Bar High keep factory BLIS working. Blade Bar XL/XLT Base and Triple Edge are for trucks without factory BLIS — both are not compatible with factory BLIS.

We do not support Tail Lamp Heat.

Blade Bar - XLT/Lariat Mid

The factory tail lights never did much for me, but this style has a lot more presence. The internal layout looks detailed up close, and the darker finish blends naturally with the truck’s gray paint. It gives the bedside a more finished appearance.
