Important: This online guide is a product-image-verified overview for the matched RIGNOX product. It uses the product page, product reference images, and visible lighting-function details to guide product-side checks. Confirm hidden vehicle-side fasteners, trim clips, and wiring access points on your exact vehicle before removal.
Safety warning: Do NOT use dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Grease can cause connection problems and may affect warranty coverage.

Product image checkpoints
- The product reference images show direct-fit, plug-and-play style connection details. Match the supplied connector to the vehicle connector and confirm the lock tab seats fully before reinstalling trim.
- Back-side or plug detail images are available for this item. Compare those photos with the removed original lamp before routing the harness.
- The visible product-function references indicate projector beam output, low beam, DRL, sequential turn signal, white/amber switchback behavior checks for this product. Confirm beam pattern and function behavior before final bumper or grille reassembly.
- If the kit includes a decoder, resistor, control module, or relay, secure it away from heat, moving parts, water paths, and sharp metal edges. Do not add universal electrical parts unless support confirms they are needed.
Product notes
- Use the product reference images on this page as the product-side visual check for connector layout, rear housing shape, and lighting functions.
- Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.
- Road-lighting compliance and off-road/show-use notes are product specific. Review the matching RIGNOX product page for the exact language for this item.
Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A wall or flat vertical surface for beam-pattern checking
Remove the original headlights
-
Remove the upper radiator shroud: Open the hood and use a plastic trim removal tool to release approximately 11 plastic clips securing the protective shroud above the radiator. Lift the shroud away from the engine compartment.

-
Remove the headlight side trim: Remove the retaining clip from the plastic trim below and beside the headlight. Carefully pull and wiggle the trim outward until it releases from the vehicle.

-
Remove the wheel liner and lower mounting screws: Turn the front wheel fully inward to access the wheel well. Remove the fender liner screw and the three 10mm screws along the lower mounting area. Use a short 1/4-inch socket wrench to reach and remove the lowest headlight mounting screw.

-
Remove and disconnect the factory headlight: Remove the three mounting screws along the top of the headlight. Carefully lift and pull the factory headlight outward until it releases, then disconnect all electrical plugs from the back of the assembly.

Install the RIGNOX headlights
-
Connect the headlight harnesses and test the functions: Connect the plug-and-play low-beam and high-beam connectors to their corresponding factory plugs. The power and ground positions in the factory plugs differ between model years, and the plugs can be inserted either way. Before switching on, line up each headlight plug with the truck plug by wire color. If a fuse has blown, replace it before testing again. Select only one dual-color DRL option: connect the purple wire for yellow DRLs or the white wire for white DRLs. Before tightening the mounting screws, use the key remote and the interior lighting controls to test the parking lights, daytime running lights, low beams, and high beams.

-
Secure the headlights and reinstall the removed trim: After confirming that the lighting functions operate correctly, reinstall and tighten the headlight mounting screws. Snap the side trim back into place, then reinstall the upper radiator shroud and its plastic clips. Use the adjustment knobs on the back of the headlight to set the beam height as needed.

-
Check the completed lighting installation: Turn on the headlights and confirm that both assemblies are properly installed.

Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
- Confirm startup animation or RGB/app functions only after normal road-light functions pass.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm the correct product variant was installed and that any included decoder, resistor, or relay is connected and secured.
- Moisture appears: Light condensation right after installation is normal and usually clears within about a week of regular driving as the lamp warms up. If water collects inside or the moisture doesn't clear, contact RIGNOX support.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
