Important: This online guide is a product-image-verified overview for the matched RIGNOX product. It uses the product page, product reference images, and visible lighting-function details to guide product-side checks. Confirm hidden vehicle-side fasteners, trim clips, and wiring access points on your exact vehicle before removal.
Safety warning: Do NOT use dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Grease can cause connection problems and may affect warranty coverage.

- If the kit includes a decoder, resistor, control module, or relay, secure it away from heat, moving parts, water paths, and sharp metal edges. Do not add universal electrical parts unless support confirms they are needed.
Product notes
- Use the product reference images on this page as the product-side visual check for connector layout, rear housing shape, and lighting functions.
- Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.
- Road-lighting compliance and off-road/show-use notes are product specific. Review the matching RIGNOX product page for the exact language for this item.
Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only

Remove the original headlights
-
Release the fender flares: Use a 7mm socket to remove the screws inside the wheel wells. Apply masking tape to protect the paint. Release the fender flare clips with a trim removal tool. Pull out the hidden black retainer inside each wheel well. Repeat on both sides.

-
Remove the lower valance: Start at either corner and release the retaining clips. Pull the plastic valance below the grille and headlights straight forward.

-
Remove the radiator shroud: Open the hood. Remove the push clips along the front edge and around the intake snorkel. Release the three hidden clips along the rear edge. Lift off the radiator shroud.

-
Disconnect the grille wiring: Disconnect the grille shutter connector near the hood latch. Use a trim removal tool to release the wiring harness clip.

-
Remove the grille: Use a 10mm socket to remove the four upper grille screws. Use an 8mm socket and extension to remove one lower screw from each side. Pull the grille forward to release the lower clips. Lift off the grille.

-
Remove the upper and side headlight fasteners: Use a 10mm socket to remove the two upper screws. Remove the plastic clip at the upper corner. Remove the side screw near the fender flare.

-
Release the lower headlight mounts: Remove the outer 10mm screw and the inner 8mm screw below the headlight. Insert a trim removal tool between the headlight and the plastic air dam. Press down to release the lower locking clips.

-
Remove the factory headlight: Pull the headlight straight forward. Do not twist it sideways, as this may break the locating pin near the fender. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the headlight.

Install the RIGNOX headlights
-
Connect and install the Rignox headlights: Connect the factory wiring plugs to the matching Rignox headlight connectors. Place the headlight in the factory position. Repeat on the other side.

-
Test the lights and reassemble the vehicle: Test all lighting functions before tightening every fastener. Secure both headlights after confirming correct operation. Reinstall the grille, wiring, radiator shroud, lower valance, and fender flares in reverse order. For detailed headlight aiming instructions, see the adjustment guide at the end of this installation. Do not over-adjust the vertical adjuster.

Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
- Confirm startup animation or RGB/app functions only after normal road-light functions pass.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm the correct product variant was installed and that any included decoder, resistor, or relay is connected and secured.
- Moisture appears: Light condensation may clear as the lamp warms. Heavy or persistent moisture should be documented with photos before continued use.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
