The 2018 facelift gave the 13th-gen F-150 a squarer, harder face and then split the lighting by trim — halogen on XL and XLT, factory LED once you reached Lariat. These put the same projector optics behind both, so the truck stops advertising which one you bought.

The daytime running light runs as a switchback: bright white by day, shifting to amber the moment you signal, drawing the C-shape that defines this generation's front end. Behind it, two projector cups per side lay down a controlled beam with a defined cutoff — light on the road ahead, not in oncoming eyes.
Blacked-out internals, clear lens. The dark housing gives the assembly its smoked attitude when the lights are off, while the lens stays optically clear so the projector cutoff arrives on the road intact.
Built on patented optical technology and independently tested for vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosion resistance. The LED engine is seated on an aluminum base with active cooling, so output holds steady instead of fading as the housing heats up.
Installation is plug-and-play into the factory harness, with integrated anti-flicker decoders — no hyper-flashing, no dash errors.
