Matched product

  • Product: 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL & JLU LED Quad Projector Headlights
  • Product type: headlights
  • SKU: H-WRA18
  • Fitment: 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL (two-door) and Wrangler Unlimited JLU (four-door), and 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. Before you begin

  • On a Wrangler, confirm JL and not JK: on the JL the headlight rings overlap the two outer grille slots. If the grille slots are clear of the lamps, you have a JK and this kit will not fit. Gladiator owners can skip this check โ€” there is no JK Gladiator.
  • Confirm your lighting type: factory-halogen trucks use the included adapter harness; factory-LED trucks plug straight in. This is the same on the JL and the JT.
  • Work powered down: park on level ground, switch off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
  • Work one side at a time so the opposite lamp stays as a reference.
  • No grease on connectors.

Tools and supplies

  • Trim removal tool
  • Torx and metric socket set; verify sizes on the vehicle before removal
  • Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
  • Zip ties for securing the adapter harness
  • A wall or flat vertical surface for beam-pattern checking

Remove the original headlights

  1. Remove the grille: the grille is retained by push clips across the top and locating tabs at the sides. Release them evenly and lift the grille away to expose the headlight retaining bolts.

  2. Unbolt the headlight: support the lamp while removing its fasteners. Keep the hardware separated by side.

  3. Disconnect the wiring: press the connector lock tab and pull on the connector body, never on the wires.

  4. Compare before fitting: hold the RIGNOX lamp against the original and confirm the mounting tabs and plug match.

Install the RIGNOX headlights

  1. Connect the wiring: halogen trucks fit the included adapter harness between the vehicle plug and the lamp; factory-LED trucks connect directly. Confirm every plug is seated and locked.

  2. Test before closing up: with the lamp still loose, confirm low beam, high beam, the white daytime running light, the sequential amber turn signal and the startup animation.

  3. Seat and bolt the lamp: align it to the locating tabs, check the gap against the fender and grille opening, then tighten. Do not over-tighten plastic mounts.

  4. Secure the harness away from heat, moving parts, water paths and sharp edges, then refit the grille.

  5. Repeat on the opposite side, then reconnect the negative battery terminal.

Electrical and function test

  1. Confirm low beam and high beam on both sides.
  2. Confirm the white daytime running light and the sequential amber turn signal.
  3. Confirm the startup animation on ignition.
  4. Check for dashboard warnings, flicker or hyperflash.
  5. Verify beam aim against a flat vertical surface.

Troubleshooting

  • One lamp does not light: recheck the adapter harness at both ends, the related fuse and the battery connection.
  • Hyperflash or a dash warning: confirm both sides are wired the same way and the adapter is used only where required.
  • The lamp will not sit flush: stop and check for a trapped harness behind the housing rather than forcing the bolts.
  • Moisture appears: light condensation may clear as the lamp warms; document heavy or persistent moisture with photos.
