Before you start: compare the photos on this page with your vehicle: the plugs, where the wiring runs and where the bolts are. If something looks different, stop and get installation help before you remove anything.
Safety warning: Do NOT use dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Grease can cause connection problems and may affect warranty coverage.

Product notes
- LED low and high beams in chrome reflector bowls, with a halo ring and center light bar for the daytime signature, a startup animation, and a sequential turn signal.
- DRL colour is set at install: a pair of DRL plugs sits on the back of each headlight. Connect them for white; leave them apart for amber. You can change it later without buying another set of headlights.
- Each housing carries its own leveling motor, so the factory dash height dial keeps working after the swap.
- The same headlights plug into both the base (no halo) and the Signature factory headlight harness. No programming is needed.
- This assembly is for the headlights only. The Bronco tail light guide is a separate article.
Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Check your kit SKU against the list above before removing original parts.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape around painted panels, the hood edge, and grille trim.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No connector grease: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
- Front-end note: Leave grille and bumper trim loose until every lighting function passes testing and beam aim is set.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; confirm the exact socket sizes on your vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Replacement plastic clips
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A helper for turn-signal testing, and a flat wall for beam aiming
Remove the original headlights
- Open front access: Open the hood and remove only the grille trim, upper bumper fasteners, and access covers required to reach the headlight fasteners.
- Expose lamp fasteners: Release clips with a trim tool rather than a screwdriver. Work slowly and confirm each fastener before pulling.
- Support the lamp: Hold the headlight with one hand while removing the remaining bolts or clips.
- Disconnect vehicle connectors: Press each lock tab and pull by the connector body, not by the wires.
- Release locating pins: Draw the headlight straight forward. Do not pry against painted body panels.
- Repeat on the opposite side: Complete one side fully before starting the other, so the original assembly stays available as a reference.
Install the RIGNOX headlights
- Compare assemblies before mounting: Compare the removed original and the RIGNOX headlight. Transfer brackets, seals, or adjuster hardware only where the original clearly carries a part the new one does not.
-
Set the DRL colour: Find the pair of DRL plugs on the back of each headlight. Plug them together for a white DRL; leave them apart for an amber DRL. With the lights on, check the colour and switch if you want the other one. Set both headlights the same way.

- Connect the main harness: Match each headlight connector to the vehicle connector and confirm the lock tab clicks into place. The same connector fits base and Signature trucks; no programming is needed.
- Secure wiring before mounting: Use zip ties to prevent rubbing, pinching, water pooling, or contact with the hood latch, radiator support, and exhaust heat.
- Seat and fasten the lamp: Align locating pins and check panel gaps against the hood, fender, and grille before tightening. Tighten evenly without over-tightening plastic mounts.
- Reinstall trim last: Leave grille and bumper trim loose until every electrical function passes testing and beam aim is set.
Electrical and function test
- Test daytime running lights, low beam, high beam, left and right turn signals, hazards, and the startup animation.
- Confirm the DRL lights on both sides in the colour you selected.
- Turn the dash height dial through its range and confirm both beams move together.
- Confirm no hyperflash or flicker appears after two ignition cycles.
- After all tests pass, reinstall grille and bumper trim and confirm no wire is stretched or pinched.
Set the beam aim
- Park square to a flat wall about 25 feet away on level ground, with a normal fuel load and no unusual weight in the cargo area.
- Set the dash height dial to its normal (unloaded) position.
- Mark the height of each low-beam hot spot on the wall and compare the two sides.
- Use the headlight adjusters to bring both low beams level and even, aimed slightly below headlight height so oncoming drivers are not dazzled.
Final check
- All connectors are fully seated and locked, and the DRL plugs are set the same way on both headlights.
- All harnesses are secured away from movement, sharp edges, water paths, and heat sources.
- Both lamps sit flush with even body gaps and no trapped harness behind the assembly.
- All headlight functions test correctly on both sides with a helper operating the controls.
- Beam aim is set and even.
- No warning lights, hyperflash, flickering, abnormal heat, moisture entry, or loose modules remain after a short function check.
Troubleshooting
- One headlight does not turn on: Recheck the main connector on that side and the corresponding fuse.
- The two sides show different DRL colours: Confirm the DRL plugs are set the same way on both headlights — together for white, apart for amber.
- Warning, flicker, or hyperflash appears: Confirm every connector is fully seated before assuming a fault in the assembly.
- The height dial does not move the beams: Recheck that the connectors on both headlights are fully seated and locked, then cycle the ignition.
- Trim will not sit flush: Check for a trapped harness, a broken or missing clip, or a locating pin that has not seated.
- Beam pattern looks uneven: Recheck aim against a flat wall before adjusting anything else.
