Important: This online guide is a product-image-verified overview for the matched RIGNOX product. It uses the product page, product reference images, and visible lighting-function details to guide product-side checks. Confirm hidden vehicle-side fasteners, trim clips, and wiring access points on your exact vehicle before removal.
Safety warning: Do NOT use dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Grease can cause connection problems and may affect warranty coverage.

Product image checkpoints
- The matching product page identifies this as a direct-fit, plug-and-play style installation. Use the product images for lamp-shape comparison and confirm the connector locks before reinstalling trim.
- The visible product-function references indicate projector beam output, low beam, high beam, DRL, sequential turn signal, white/amber switchback behavior checks for this product. Confirm beam pattern and function behavior before final bumper or grille reassembly.
- If the kit includes a decoder, resistor, control module, or relay, secure it away from heat, moving parts, water paths, and sharp metal edges. Do not add universal electrical parts unless support confirms they are needed.
Product notes
- Use the product reference images on this page as the product-side visual check for connector layout, rear housing shape, and lighting functions.
- Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.
- Road-lighting compliance and off-road/show-use notes are product specific. Review the matching RIGNOX product page for the exact language for this item.
Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A wall or flat vertical surface for beam-pattern checking
Remove the original headlights
-
Remove the grille trim clips: Open the hood and remove the two plastic clips securing the center grille trim piece.

-
Remove the trim panel screws: Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the lower trim panel. The screws are located above the headlight and on the side near the corner light.

-
Remove the lower headlight trim: Use a trim removal tool to carefully pry off the lower headlight trim panel. Begin at the center and work toward both sides to release the retaining clips.

-
Remove the corner light: Remove the screw securing the top of the corner light assembly, then pull the corner light straight forward to detach it from the vehicle.

-
Remove the side bracket: After removing the corner light, unscrew and remove the white plastic bracket underneath to expose the side headlight mounting bolt.

-
Remove the headlight mounting bolts: Use a 10 mm socket to remove the four bolts securing the headlight assembly. Two bolts are located on top, one is on the inner side, and one is hidden at the lower front of the assembly.

-
Disconnect the wiring and remove the factory headlight: Pull the headlight assembly forward after removing all mounting bolts. Carefully disconnect the main wiring harness and the high- and low-beam connectors from the back of the housing, then remove the headlight.

Install the RIGNOX headlights
-
Connect the new LED headlight wiring: Depending on the purchased product version, the rear housing and connector layout may vary slightly, but the factory plugs connect directly to the corresponding connectors on the new LED headlight. Push each connector into place until the locking tab clicks securely.

-
Test all lighting functions before reassembly: Before reinstalling the mounting bolts and trim panels, turn on the vehicle and test the low beams, high beams, sequential turn signals, and daytime running lights. Correct any loose or incomplete connections before continuing.

Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
- Confirm startup animation or RGB/app functions only after normal road-light functions pass.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm the correct product variant was installed and that any included decoder, resistor, or relay is connected and secured.
- Moisture appears: Light condensation right after installation is normal and usually clears within about a week of regular driving as the lamp warms up. If water collects inside or the moisture doesn't clear, contact RIGNOX support.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
