Product image checkpoints

• This kit replaces four lamps, not two. The GMT800 front end carries a headlight and a separate bumper lamp on each side, so lay all four pieces out and identify left from right before anything comes off the truck.
• Match each supplied connector to the corresponding vehicle connector and confirm the lock tab seats fully before reinstalling trim.
• Compare the rear of each new assembly with the original you removed, one piece at a time, rather than removing all four first.
• If the kit includes a decoder, resistor, control module, or relay, secure it away from heat, moving parts, water paths, and sharp metal edges. Do not add universal electrical parts unless support confirms they are needed.

Product notes

• The daytime running light is white. The turn signal sweeps in amber sequence, and a startup animation runs when the ignition is switched on.
• Each headlight also carries an amber side signature at the outer corner, which lights with the position lamps and stays reflective when the truck is off.
• Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.
• Road-lighting compliance and off-road/show-use notes are product specific. Review the matching RIGNOX product page for the exact language for this item.

Before you begin

• Confirm the exact product: Check that all four pieces are present and undamaged, and that the lens and housing match the product page images, before removing anything from the truck.
• Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
• Work one side at a time: Leaving the opposite side assembled gives you a reference for connector routing and lamp seating.
• Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
• Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
• No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.

Tools and supplies

• Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
• Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
• Phillips and flat screwdrivers
• Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
• Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only

Remove the original lamps

1. Open the hood and expose the lamp retainers: On the GMT800 the headlight and the bumper lamp are held by retainers reached from the engine bay side. Locate every retainer for the side you are working on before releasing any of them, and note how each one is oriented so it goes back the same way.

2. Release the headlight assembly: With the retainers clear, draw the headlight straight forward out of its locating pins. Do not twist it or lever it against the fender — if it will not come, a retainer is still engaged.

3. Disconnect the headlight wiring: Support the assembly, press or release each locking tab, and separate the connectors. Pull on the connector body, never on the wires.

4. Remove the bumper park / turn lamp: Repeat the same sequence for the lamp below the headlight. Keep the fasteners for each lamp separated, since headlight and bumper lamp hardware is not interchangeable.

5. Repeat on the opposite side once the first side is fully installed and tested.

Install the RIGNOX lamps

1. Connect the wiring: Plug the RIGNOX harness into the factory connectors for that side. The kit is plug-and-play into the factory harness with integrated anti-flicker decoders, so no cutting, splicing, or added resistors should be needed. Confirm every plug is fully seated and locked.

2. Test before you close anything up: With the lamp still loose, switch on and confirm low beam, high beam, the white daytime running light, the amber sequential turn signal, and the startup animation. It is far easier to fix a connector now than after the assembly is bolted in.

3. Seat and secure the headlight: Guide the assembly onto its locating pins, check the gap against the fender and hood, then refit the retainers. The lamp should sit flush without being forced.

4. Fit the bumper park / turn lamp the same way, then refit any trim you removed.

5. Repeat on the opposite side, then reconnect the negative battery terminal.

Electrical and function test

1. Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
2. Confirm the white daytime running light, position lamps, amber sequential turn signal, and hazard flash on all four lamps.
3. Confirm the startup animation runs when the ignition is switched on.
4. Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or hyperflash before reinstalling final trim.
5. Verify beam aim against a flat vertical surface so the cutoff is safe and even.

Final check

• All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
• Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
• All four lamps sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
• All lighting functions pass on both sides.
• No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.

Troubleshooting

• One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
• The headlight works but the bumper lamp does not: These are separate assemblies on separate connectors. Confirm the bumper lamp has its own plug fully seated rather than assuming one connector feeds both.
• Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm any included decoder or relay is connected and secured, and that both sides are wired the same way.
• Moisture appears: Light condensation may clear as the lamp warms. Heavy or persistent moisture should be documented with photos before continued use.
• Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
