Before you begin
- Headlight-leveling dial: These headlights have no leveling motor. On trucks with a dash headlight-leveling dial, the dial no longer moves the beam after the swap — set the aim with the adjusters on the housing.
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- 10 mm socket and ratchet
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers

- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A wall or flat vertical surface for beam-pattern checking
Remove the original headlights

Remove the trim panel below the headlight: Open the hood and locate the trim panel below the factory headlight. Remove the two retaining clips with a trim removal tool, then place a soft cloth over the painted surface and carefully pry the trim panel away from the fender.

Remove the three headlight mounting bolts: Use a 10 mm socket to remove the three bolts securing the factory headlight assembly. Keep the bolts in a safe place for installation of the Rignox headlight.

Remove the factory headlight assembly: Locate the two retaining clips at the top of the headlight. Carefully release the headlight assembly from the clips, then pull the assembly forward and away from the vehicle.

Disconnect the factory wiring connectors: Support the removed headlight assembly and disconnect all electrical connectors from the back of the factory headlight. Press or release each locking tab before separating the connector, and do not pull directly on the wires.
Install the RIGNOX headlights

Connect the Rignox headlight wiring: The two builds wire up differently. Follow the section for the build you have. Before switching on, match each headlight plug to the truck plug with the same wire colors. The factory plugs look alike, and a plug in the wrong socket blows the turn-signal / hazard and DRL fuses.
Dual Projector (H-TUN07): Plug connector A into the factory low-beam connector and connector B into the factory high-beam connector. Trucks with a single large factory headlight connector use the supplied adapter harness. DRL color: the DRL plugs on the back of each headlight are marked with lowercase letters (not the same as connectors A and B above). Connect a to c for a white DRL, or a to b for an amber DRL — use only one and make sure the plug is fully seated. With the lights on, check the color and switch if you want the other one. Set both headlights the same way.
Triple Projector (H-TUN07-3P): Each lead is labelled. Plug Low Beam and High Beam into the factory low-beam and high-beam connectors. Plug Turn Signal and Side Marker into the factory grey connectors. Connect the DRLs to ACC lead to a switched (ignition/ACC) fuse with the supplied fuse tap. There is no DRL color choice on this build.

Test and secure the Rignox headlight assembly: Test all lighting functions before securing the headlight. Once everything works correctly, install the headlight in the factory position and reinstall the three bolts and lower trim panel. Repeat the same steps on the opposite side.
Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm the DRL, parking light, amber sequential turn signal and hazards on both sides.
- Confirm the startup animation on the Dual Projector build; the Triple Projector build has none.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Turn signal flashes fast, or the low or high beam does not work: Do not cut or splice any wiring. Contact RIGNOX support through rignox.com/pages/warranty-claim with your order number, and we'll send what your truck needs to fix it.
- Turn signals, hazards and DRL all stop working after install: Recheck every plug against the steps above, then check the turn/hazard and tail-light fuses — a plug connected to the wrong factory connector can blow them.
- Moisture appears: A little moisture right after installation is normal and usually clears within a week of normal use.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
