Product notes
- Use the product reference images on this page as the product-side visual check for connector layout, rear housing shape, and lighting functions.
- Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.

Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape

Remove the original headlights
-
Remove the front grille: Open the hood and remove the two plastic retaining clips and four 10 mm bolts along the top of the front grille, then lift the grille upward and remove it from the vehicle.

-
Remove the lower headlight trim: Remove the two retaining clips at the front of the trim and the two 10 mm bolts inside the fender, then remove the trim from below the headlight.

-
Remove the factory headlight mounting bolts: Remove the three 10 mm bolts securing the factory headlight assembly, including the two upper bolts and one side bolt.

-
Disconnect and remove the factory headlight: Place the headlight assembly on a towel or another soft surface to protect the lens, then disconnect all wiring connectors from the back of the headlight and remove the assembly.

Install the RIGNOX headlights
-
Connect and secure the new LED headlight: Use the supplied wiring harness to connect all corresponding connectors, then position the new LED headlight in place and secure it.

-
Set the DRL color: On the back of each headlight there's a DRL selector wire and two sockets. Plug the selector wire into one socket for one color, or the other socket for the other color — use only one socket. With the lights on, check the color and switch if you want the other one. Set both headlights the same way.

-
Test all lighting functions: After securing the new LED headlights, activate each lighting function and confirm that the headlights operate correctly.

Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
- Confirm startup animation or RGB/app functions only after normal road-light functions pass.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm the correct product variant was installed and that any included decoder, resistor, or relay is connected and secured.
- Moisture appears: Light condensation right after installation is normal and usually clears within about a week of regular driving as the lamp warms up. If water collects inside or the moisture doesn't clear, contact RIGNOX support.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
