Before you begin

Remove the original headlights

Remove the front wheel-well fasteners: Turn the front wheels fully to one side to access the wheel-well area. Remove the fasteners securing the front wheel-well liners and the sides of the front bumper to the fenders. Repeat this process on both sides of the vehicle.

Remove the upper engine-compartment cover: Use a trim removal tool to release all plastic retaining clips from the upper cover at the front of the engine compartment. Remove the cover panel from the vehicle.

Remove the grille-side trim panels and bumper clips: Pull outward to remove the plastic trim panels on both sides of the front grille. Release the plastic retaining clips along the sides and upper edge of the front bumper.

Remove the front bumper: Starting at one side, carefully pull the front bumper outward to release it from the retaining points. Lift the bumper slightly from underneath and remove it from the vehicle.

Remove the headlight mounting bolts: Use a 10 mm socket and extension to remove the four bolts securing the factory headlight assembly. These bolts are located along the top, side, and recessed lower mounting points.

Release the headlight retaining clips: Use a trim removal tool to carefully release the plastic mounting bracket and retaining clips around the edge of the headlight. Confirm that all retaining points are fully disengaged.

Disconnect and remove the factory headlight: Slowly pull the headlight assembly forward to access the rear connections. Disconnect the main lighting harness and the high-beam and low-beam connectors, then remove the factory headlight assembly.

Install the RIGNOX headlights

Connect and install the Rignox headlight assembly: Connect the vehicle wiring connectors to the corresponding connectors on the Rignox headlight. Position the replacement headlight in the factory mounting location, align all mounting points and clips, and reinstall the four 10 mm mounting bolts.

Test the headlights before final reassembly: Before reinstalling the front bumper and upper engine-compartment cover, turn on the headlights and verify that the low beams, high beams, and other required lighting functions operate correctly. Complete the final reassembly after confirming proper operation.
Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
