Product image checkpoints
- The product reference images show direct-fit, plug-and-play style connection details. Match the supplied connector to the vehicle connector and confirm the lock tab seats fully before reinstalling trim.
- Back-side or plug detail images are available for this item. Compare those photos with the removed original lamp before routing the harness.
- The visible product-function references indicate projector beam output, low beam, DRL, sequential turn signal, white/amber switchback behavior, RGB/app function checks for this product. Confirm beam pattern and function behavior before final bumper or grille reassembly.
- If the kit includes a decoder, resistor, control module, or relay, secure it away from heat, moving parts, water paths, and sharp metal edges. Do not add universal electrical parts unless support confirms they are needed.
- RGB or app-controlled lighting is for show/display use where allowed. Confirm standard road-light functions operate normally before using any color mode.
Product notes
- Use the product reference images on this page as the product-side visual check for connector layout, rear housing shape, and lighting functions.
- Original vehicle trim, clip style, and fastener locations can vary by year, trim, and previous repairs. Remove panels slowly and verify each fastener before pulling.
- Road-lighting compliance and off-road/show-use notes are product specific. Review the matching RIGNOX product page for the exact language for this item.
Before you begin
- Confirm the exact product: Compare the RIGNOX headlights to the product reference images, including rear housing, plug layout, lens style, and included modules.
- Work powered down: Park on level ground, switch the vehicle off, and disconnect the negative battery terminal when handling wiring.
- Protect body panels: Use clean towels or masking tape near painted edges around the hood, grille, bumper edge, or fender liner area.
- Do not force clips: If a lamp or trim panel does not move, stop and look for another fastener or locating pin.
- No grease on connectors: Do not apply dielectric grease or weather-sealing grease to connectors or sockets.
Tools and supplies
- Trim removal tool or panel clip tool
- Metric socket and ratchet set; verify exact sizes on the vehicle before removal
- Phillips and flat screwdrivers
- Clean microfiber towels and masking tape
- Electrical tape and zip ties for securing included harnesses only
- A wall or flat vertical surface for beam-pattern checking
Remove the original headlights
-
Open the hood and protect the painted edges: Open the hood and apply painter's tape along the seams where the front bumper meets the fenders and headlights. These painted edges are vulnerable to scratches while removing the bumper, so do not skip the protective tape.

-
Remove the upper radiator cover: Use a plastic trim removal tool to pry up and remove the push clips securing the upper radiator shroud, then lift the shroud away from the vehicle.

-
Remove the upper bumper screws: Use a socket wrench to remove the screws located at both outer corners and the center of the upper bumper.

-
Remove the fender liner clips and disconnect the connector: From inside the front wheel well, use a trim removal tool to remove the plastic push clips and disconnect the connector, then repeat the same procedure on the opposite side.

-
Remove the lower mounting bolts: Reach underneath the front end and remove the remaining bolts securing the lower mounting brackets.

-
Remove the front bumper: Carefully pull the front bumper forward and away from the vehicle frame, then remove it from the vehicle.

-
Remove the factory headlight: Release the three retaining points on the headlight housing, pull the headlight forward to remove it from the frame, press the connector locking tab, and disconnect the main wiring harness.

Install the RIGNOX headlights
-
Connect the new headlight harness: Insert the factory vehicle wiring plug directly into the connector on the back of the new LED headlight until the locking tab clicks into place.

-
Install and secure the new headlight: Align the new headlight housing with the factory mounting slots and alignment pins, slide it into the vehicle frame, confirm that it sits flat against the mounting brackets, and reinstall the mounting bolts.
-
Test all lighting functions: Activate each front lighting function and confirm that the new LED headlights operate correctly.

Electrical and function test
- Confirm low beam and high beam operate on both sides.
- Confirm DRL, parking light, amber turn signal, hazard, sequential, and switchback behavior where supported by this product.
- Confirm startup animation or RGB/app functions only after normal road-light functions pass.
- Check for dashboard warnings, flicker, or intermittent operation before reinstalling final trim.
- Verify beam aim after installation so the cutoff is safe and even.
Final check
- All connectors are locked, dry, and routed without tension.
- Included modules or extra harnesses are secured away from heat, water paths, moving parts, and sharp edges.
- Both headlights sit flush with even body gaps and properly seated seals.
- All supported lighting functions pass on both sides.
- No warning lights, flicker, hyperflash, abnormal heat, moisture issue, or loose wiring remains after a short check drive.
Troubleshooting
- One lamp does not turn on: Recheck the main connector lock, related fuse, and battery connection.
- One function does not work: Compare the plug area to the product reference images and verify the connector is fully seated.
- Warning message, flicker, or hyperflash: Confirm the correct product variant was installed and that any included decoder, resistor, or relay is connected and secured.
- Moisture appears: Light condensation right after installation is normal and usually clears within about a week of regular driving as the lamp warms up. If water collects inside or the moisture doesn't clear, contact RIGNOX support.
- Beam pattern is too high or uneven: Recheck lamp seating first, then adjust aim on a flat surface.
- RGB/app feature does not respond: Confirm the product variant supports RGB, the controller has power, and the app/controller pairing has been completed.
